Piano and Voice
Jennifer Watson is a classically trained pianist and vocalist, with a completed masters degree in Voice Performance from Boston Conservatory at Berklee. She received her bachelor’s degree in Vocal Music Education from Oklahoma Baptist University, where she studied pedagogy for both voice and piano. Ms. Watson has sixteen years of education in piano, four years of which were under the tutelage of Dr. Michael Dean.
Ms. Watson’s performances include premiering a role in James Vernon’s original opera A Porcelain Doll, and work in the Boston Conservatory’s productions of The Consul and Glory Denied. She has been selected for top choirs and performed in venues such as Carnegie Hall, Kansas City Music Hall, The Old South Church in Boston, and as a soloist for the Duruflè Mass. Her competition resume includes top placements in NATS and Concerto-Aria.
Jennifer has experience working with kids of every age group, and has taught voice and piano lessons online and in person for three years. Throughout her musical career, she has been mentored by Monique Phinney, Louima Lilite, Michael Dean, Norma Partridge, and Gail Simpson.
