Brandon Maughan is the owner of Maughan Studios School of Music founded in 2004. He has 35 years of experience playing guitar, bass guitar, ukulele, and mandolin. Twenty years of experience teaching. Brandon has conducted numerous workshops and clinics in-band performance, guitar technique, guitar construction, and maintenance.
From the fall of 2010 to current, Brandon works as a professor for the University of Oklahoma’s Academy of Contemporary Music located in Bricktown Oklahoma City. In addition to teaching for UCO, Brandon also works as a professor at Southwest Christian University as of 2015.
Brandon offers patient instruction, encouragement, and lots of support for his students whether they pursue a relaxing hobby or desire to become expert players. He welcomes those interested in almost any style of guitar playing.
